Roy Ernest Greer, Jr.

Maryville - Roy Ernest Greer, Jr., 62, of Maryville, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Nodaway Nursing Home.

Born on October 21, 1945 in Sedalia, MO he was the son of the late Roy E. & Ada Leclair (Dick) Greer.

He was of the Baptist Faith.

He was formerly employed as an x-ray technician at the St. Francis Hospital, Maryville.

He is survived by his devoted wife whom he married on September 12, 1987, Sherry Susan (Vosyka) Greer of the home, three daughters, Cim Hoerner, Elridge, Iowa, Cassie Ehrecke, Davenport, Iowa, Carrie Eiland, Davenport, Iowa, two step children, Ron Ridgeway, Bellevue, NE and Ronda Lopez, St. Charles, MO, a sister Clo Class, Knobnoster, MO. Also survived by twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Greer has been cremated under the trusted care of the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri. There will be no visitation or viewing and memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Roy Greer Memorial Fund, c/o Danfelt Funeral Home.
