Maryville - Margaret R. Smith, 78, of Maryville, passed from this life on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at the Beverly Health Care Center.

Born in Stanberry on September 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Edward P. & Rose (Miller) Wiederholt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Glenn Smith on July 30, 1981.

She is survived by her children, Sons, Steven Douglas Smith and his wife, Becky, James E. Smith and his wife, Joyce, daughters, Patty Ebrecht and her husband Jim and Stella M. Smith all of Maryville, sisters, Delores Umphrey, Stanberry, MO, Mildred Teeters, Montgomery City, brothers, Leroy Wiederholt, Stanberry, Marvin Wiederholt, Ravenwood, Nine Grandchildren & Nine Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Fred J. Smith & Gerald Smith, sisters, Loretta Lehmer, Beatrice Lager, Kathleen Campbell, brothers, Gerald Wiederholt, Norbert Wiederholt and Edwin Wiederholt.

She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
She was a member of the St. Gregory Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Gregory Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 12, 2005. Final Resting Place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Maryville. The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. where a prayer service will be held. The family has requested memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 1241, St. Joseph, MO 64502.
