John Franklin Adwell

Ravenwood - John Franklin Adwell, 83, of Ravenwood, passed from this life on, Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Beverly Living Center.

Born on November 3, 1924 he was the son of the late Charles Adwell & Mable (Milligian) Adwell Webb.

He was a Veteran serving in the US Army during WW II.
He was a self-employed Farmer.
He was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Georgia L. (Patterson) Adwell, whom he married on March 8, 1947 in Maryville, MO, loving children, Margery Plumb and husband Tom, Shelbyville, MO and James Adwell and wife Sharon, Ravenwood, MO, a sister, Della Mae Stiens and husband Jim, Maryville, Eleven Grandchildren and Sixteen Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Adwell.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on, Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Ravenwood Christian Church, Ravenwood, Missouri. Final Resting Place will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood.

The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468 on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. The family has requested memorial donations to SSM Hospice of NW Missouri, Ravenwood Christian Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
