Burlington Junction - Paul Kenneth Swinford, Jr., 66, of Burlington Junction, passed from this life on, Monday, March 17, 2008 at his home.

Born on October 30, 1941in Maryville, he was the son of the late Paul Kenneth, Sr. & Doris Ilene (Ingles) Swinford.

He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Burlington Junction, MO and the Rolla Dicks Post #315 American Legion.

He retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad.

He is survived by his children, Joey Swinford and Kenna Eligah, stepson, Nathan Ramsey, of Burlington Junction, sister, Joyce J. Piveral and husband Steve, Maryville, brother, Larry Swinford, Sr. and wife Vicki, Bussey, IA, fiancé, Pamela Ramsey, Burlington Junction, grandchildren, Kelsey, Travis, Sam, Tyler, and Ben, step-grandson, Cole. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468. Final Resting Place will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO. There will be no evening visitation, however the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. on Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital.
