Robert Lawrence Bragg

Burlington Junction - Robert Lawrence Bragg, 80, of Burlington Junction, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the St. Francis Hospital.

Born on September 6, 1927 in Burlington Junction, Missouri he was the son of the late John & Myrl (Short) Bragg. He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene (Harden) Bragg on April 7, 2005.

He was a Veteran serving during WW II in the US Army.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Rolla Dicks American Legion Post 315 Burlington Junction, Nodaway Lodge No. 470 A.F. and A.M., Maryville.

He retired from Dempsey-Harden LP Gas after 38 years of service.

He is survived by his loving children, Robert L. Bragg, Jr. and wife Norma, Elmo, Stephen W. Bragg and wife Margaret, Minneapolis, MN, Darla Burson and husband, Ron, College Springs, Iowa, Sally Farley and husband Glenn, Elmo, MO, brother, Charles Bragg, Burlington Junction and sister, Doris Porterfield, Clearmont, MO, Eleven Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother Harold "Babe" Bragg.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 14, 2008 at First Christian Church, Burlington Junction, MO with Pastor Matt Limback, Officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the Wilcox Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Memorial Donations may be made to the First Christian Church or Rolla Dicks American Legion Post 315, Burlington.
