Shelby Lynn Wilson , age 10, of St. Joseph, MO., formerly of Fillmore, MO passed from this life on Friday, August 15, 2008 as a result of a automobile accident.

Born on July 24, 1998, in St. Joseph, MO to Shelly Wilson Gatewood. Shelby attended the Harvest Baptist Church in Savannah, and had completed the fourth grade at North Andrew School in Rosendale.

She loved animals and also to sing. Shelby loved baseball, basketball, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, proudly shooting her first Turkey this year. Her family was most important to her, cherishing family dinners and functions.

Shelby will be sadly missed by survivors: Mother, Shelly of the home and her companion Ed Loubey, III; Brothers, Gunner Gatewood and Clayton Loubey; Grandparents Margaret Wilson and Ralph Wilson, and Art and Susie Williams; Great Grandparents, Hazel Leader, Ed and Thelma Chermay, and Ray and Betty Smith; Aunts, Cassie Wilson, Holly Loubey; Uncle, Brian Wilson and wife Brandy; Cousins, Baylee Brown, Kaden Wilson, and Sydney Loubey. God parents Jimmy and Zoe Kier, and several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shelby was preceded in death by Great Grandfathers, Lee Wilson, and Morris Leader; her aunt Deb Leader and cousin Chase Leader.

Shelby’s funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at the Rosendale Christian Church. Burial will be in the Savannah Missouri Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in Shelby’s name at Bank Midwest, 102 S. 71 Hwy, Savannah, MO. 64485.
