Lola Grace Carlson

Clearmont - Lola Grace Carlson, 92, of Clearmont, passed from this life on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Goldenrod Manor Care Center, Clarinda, Iowa.

Born on December 19, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Hollie & Ethel (McCord) Ecker. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Carlson in 2000.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Elmo United Methodist Church, the 60 & Up Club and was a supporter of 4 -H.

She is survived by her loving children, Ed Carlson, Corning, Iowa, Ethel Phillips, Lakewood, CO, Lillian Evans, Clearmont, Lynn Carlson Clearmont, Dean Carlson, Bellevue, NE, a sister Verlie Weland, 11 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several step-great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Kevin Evans, sisters, Pearl Adkins, Margerie Ecker, Zelma Hull, Thelma Ray, Geraldine Richardson, a brother Orie Ecker.

Funeral Services will be held at Elmo United Methodist Church, Elmo, Missouri, at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 13th, with Rev. Richard Phillips officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the LaMar Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Tuesday evening from 6 to 7:30 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to the Elmo U.M.C. or Clearmont Community Park.
