Joseph M. “Joe” Zeiger 50, Clyde, MO., passed away at his home on June 12, 2008. Born in San Pedro, CA, on February 15, 1958, he had lived in Clyde for most of his life. Joe’s parents were William “Bill” and Mary Elizabeth Linnemann. Joe was a laborer for Loch Sand and Construction and had formerly worked for Allen’s Country Mix, both of Maryville, MO.
Joe was a member of the Laborer International Union of North America, Local 579, St. Joseph, MO. He was also a member of St. Columba Parish and the Knights of Columbus, both of Conception Junction, MO.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents. An infant sister, Ginny Sue Zeiger, in 1962.
Joe is survived by 9 brothers and sisters, John Zeiger, Englewood, CO, Kathy Piunno, Parker, CO, Anna Stone, Belton, MO, Judy Zeiger, Olympia, WA, Jim Zeiger, Holt’s Summit, MO, Betsy Switzer, Kingsville, MO, Eva Zeiger, St. Joseph, MO, Jerry Zeiger, Northwood, IA, Patty Harris, Arkoe, MO. 24 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday June 16, 2008, at the St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction, MO. Interment will be in the St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, MO. Fr. Peter Ullrich will be the Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Bram Funeral Home of Maryville, Inc.
