Byron G. Mcfarland

Byron G. McFarland, 75, of Maryville, MO. Passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007, at the Maryville Hospital.

He was born November 30, 1932 in Kensitt, Arkansas, and lived most of his life in the Maryville area. He was a retired truck driver for the Wynn Bros. Trucking, Maryville, MO. Byron was a member of the American Legion, Post #100, and the VFW Post #442, both of Maryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 2 sisters: Patricia McFarland and Peggy McFarland, and a grandson: Dickie Parshall, Jr. in 1995.

Byron is survived by 3 daughters: Pat Wyatt and Cammi Zimmerman, both of Maryville, and Marcia Shaw, Overland Park, KS. 1 Son: Brad McFarland, Independence, MO. 1 brother: Lemar McFarland, Rockford, IL. 1 sister: Julia Herwegh, Raymore, MO. 10 grandchildren 6 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation: 2-4 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Bram Funeral Home. Flag folding and presentation ceremony will be at 3:30 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home under the auspices of the American Legion Post #100. Mr. McFarland has been cremated.
