Elmo - Virginia "June" Singleton, 86, of Elmo, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at her home.

Born on August 12, 1920 in Tarkio, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Carl Wilson & Bonny Gladys (Kemple) Vance. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby L. Singleton on February 14, 1979.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her loving children, Debbie Rainey and husband, Matthew, Elmo, John Singleton, Palm Springs, CA, granddaughter, Samantha Gilland, Elmo, MO, sisters, Jewell Butts and husband, Jr., Stanberry, Betty Dawson, Coco Beach, FL, brother, Richard Vance and wife Rita, Tarkio, several nieces and nephews,.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Rawliegh Louis Vance, William Joseph Vance, Theodore Scott Vance, Guy Edwin Vance.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468. Final Resting Place will be in the Home Cemetery, Tarkio.

There will be no evening visitation or viewing. Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund, c/o Danfelt Funeral Home.
