Renee Coverdell

Renee Coverdell, 53, of Knob Noster, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at a Kansas City Hospital. Born August 15, 1953 in St. Joseph, MO, she was a former resident of Maryville, MO. Renee graduated from NWMSU, Maryville, and also received a B.S. and Masters in Education from UCM in Warrensburg, MO. She was a 3rd Grade Teacher at Whiteman Elementary School for the past 16 years. She previously taught at Hickman Mills School District, Mountain Home AFB in Idaho, and at Myrtle Beach AFB in the Department of Defence School Systems. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church, Maryville, and the Missouri State Teachers Association.

Renee is preceded in death by her mother: Carol James Hollingsworth on May 8th, 2005.

She married Jon C. Coverdell on August 2, 1975 in Maryville, MO. He survives of the home.

Renee is survived by her father: Bill Hollingsworth, of Maryville, MO. 2 Sisters: Deborah Hargis, St. Joseph, MO and Juledene Coverdell, Maryville, MO. Brother: Clay Hollingsworth, Maitland, MO. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life: 1:30 P.M. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Bram Funeral Home of Maryville, Inc. Burial: 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Sparta Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO. Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Bram Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Cancer Society, or to a literacy program in your area.
