Clearmont - Virginia Mae Harris, 79, of Clearmont, passed from this life on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the St. Francis Hospital.

Born on August 15, 1928 in Wharton, Texas she was the daughter of the late Paul & Frances (Matocha) Janus. She was preceded in death by her husband William Elmer Harris on July 3, 1958.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Clearmont Christian Church.

She is survived by her loving children, William "Bill" Harris, Clearmont, Steve Harris, wife Jackie, Clearmont, Gary Harris, wife LaDonna, Hopkins, MO, George Harris, wife Rhonda, Burlington Junction, MO, Linda S. Seipel, husband Don, Maryville, fourteen grandchildren & seven great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Delores Harris, Tarkio, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eight brothers & sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Clearmont Christian Church, Clearmont, Missouri. Final Resting Place will be in the Lamar Cemetery, Elmo, Missouri.

The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 12 noon on Sunday.

Memorial donations may be made to the Clearmont Christian Church or the Nodaway County Senior Center.
