Lois Marie Adkins

Clearmont - Lois Marie Adkins, 76, of Clearmont, passed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2006 at her daughter's home.

She was born on November 22, 1929 in Westboro, Missouri to the late Josiah Don & Marguerite Ida Mae Macrander. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Maurice Adkins on April 1, 2003.

She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Otis, Colorado and a member of the Sunshine Pal Club, Elmo.

She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary for many years.

She is survived by her loving children, Daughters, Joy R. Bailey and husband Ron, Maryville,
Jill D. Monticue and husband Dennis, Burlington Junction, Son, Kevin K. Adkins and wife Cheryl, Elmo, brother, D.C. Macrander and wife Hilah, Clearmont, sister, Margery Coulter, Rosendale, Grandchildren, Bret Bailey and wife Vicki, Deryk Powell and wife Mindy, Ryan Powell and Susan, Tanner Adkins, Faith Adkins, Kassie Davidson, Andrew Davidson, Cindy Monticue, Kelli Rast, great grandchildren, Alayna Powell, Alec Powell, Adkin Powell, Fannie Berlau, Hannah Rast & Baby Boy Bailey, expected in the winter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Don Coulter.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468. Final Resting Place, Lamar Cemetery, Elmo. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M.
