Burlington Junction - Kenneth Lee Armstrong, 74, of Burlington Junction, Missouri, passed from this life on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at his home.

Born on November 28, 1931 in Watson, Missouri he was the son of the late John Fletcher & Vera Mae (Thompson) Armstrong.

He was a Veteran serving in the US Navy.

He was a mechanic for 41 years and 31 of those years he was the owner and operator of Armstrong Garage, Burlington Junction, Missouri.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Vera Deeanne (Dankof) Armstrong whom he married on November 9, 1957 in Hamburg, Iowa, loving daughter, Denise Sherlock, husband, Jeff of Clarinda, loving sons, Kenneth Lee Armstrong, Jr., Burlington Junction, Danny Armstrong, wife Patty, St. Joseph, David Armstrong, Camdenton, MO, sisters, Lylith Gardner, Omaha, NE, Holly Holmes, husband Chris, Rock Port, brothers, Gerald Armstrong, wife Charlotte, Fairfax,
John Armstrong, wife Carolyn, St. Louis, Jim Armstrong, wife Barb, Hamburg, Iowa, Gary Armstrong, Watson, MO, Leo Armstrong, wife Linda, Rock Port, five grandchildren & six great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents son-in-law, Mike Hoskins, brother-in-law, Casey Gardner.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468. There will be no viewing or visitation. Mr. Armstrong was cremated under the trusted care of Danfelt Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
