Arlene Klindt, 92, of Maryville, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO.
Arlene was born on June 2, 1924, in Albany, MO. Her parents were George and Della (Richards) Pigg, and preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bill Klindt, in 2016.
Arlene lived in Maryville, MO, since 1945, moving here from Bethany, MO. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Maryville. She loved to do crafts, and owned and operated the former World of Crafts store, in Maryville.
On April 10, 1945, in Kansas City, KS, Arlene was united in marriage to Bill Klindt. They were married for 71 years before his death.
She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Norman (Carol) Klindt, Maryville, MO, and Stephen Gregory (Evelyn) Klindt, Overland Park, KS, her sister, Madonna Lawson, Maryville, MO, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and other family members.
Mrs. Klindt has been cremated. Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville. The dual inurnment for Mr. and Mrs. Klindt will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO. Pastor Paul McKim will be the minister.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, and may be left at the funeral home.
