Joyce E. Icke

Joyce E. Icke, 73, of Barnard, MO, passed from this life on
Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph, MO.

Joyce was born in Maryville, MO, to William L. and Alma
(Lockhart) Brownfield, on January 30, 1943.

She was a member of the Barnard Christian Church, Barnard,
MO, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend,
and always putting others before herself.

She was a hardworking and dedicated employee at Union
Carbide, later Energizer, Maryville, for 30 years, retiring in 2009. She lived
all her life in the area.

Preceded her in death were her parents, a brother, William
E. Brownfield, a sister, Shirley Cloud, and her husband of 28 years, Vancil
Icke.

Joyce is survived by her son and daughter in law, Mark and
Joy Beattie, Barnard, MO, her daughter, Melinda L. Dennis, Maryville, MO; five
grandchildren, Alyssa, Rachelle and Matthew Beattie, Kameron (Drew) DeMott and
Schylar (Cory) Cronk; 3 step grandchildren, Adam, Aaron and Megan Dennis; sister,
Becky Brownfield, brothers, Bob, Terry, and Rick Brownfield; sister in law,
Anne Brownfield; great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Icke has been cremated under the direction of the
Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

Memorial graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, on Friday,
January 20, 2017, At the American Legion Cemetery, Barnard, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, on Thursday,
January 18, 2017, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home.
