Charlie Osborn

Charles "Charlie" Osborn, 75, of Ravenwood, MO passed away July 28, 2016 at Nodaway Nursing Home in Maryville, surrounded by his loving family.

Charlie was born September 8, 1940 in Gentry County MO, to Donald and Eileen Carter Osborn. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim, brother-in-law Bill Kemery, his in-laws Russell and Elizabeth Kemery, brother-in-law Willard Turnipseed, and sister-in-law Jean Hall.

Charlie was a 1958 graduate of Stanberry High School. He served his country in the army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division.
He was a member of the Ravenwood United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Stanberry Masonic Lodge No. 109 AF & AM of Stanberry, MO.

He drove semis for many years before becoming a paramedic in 1986, working at Gentry, Nodaway and Andrew County Ambulance Districts. He retired in 2002, then worked as a bus driver for the Northeast Nodaway School District in addition to hauling grain for Meyer Farms.

On June 28, 1975 in Ravenwood, MO, he married Peggy Lavon Kemery. She survives of the home.
Other survivors are Charlie and Peggy's three children: Jennifer Linville of Ravenwood, Chrissy (Josh) Emery of Ravenwood, and Nathan (Cassie) Osborn of Maryville, six grandchildren; Shelby and Sarah Linville, Peyton and Spencer Weir, and Gage and Chloe Emery, one brother; Mick (Deloris) Osborn of Agency, MO, one sister-in-law; Donna (Elijah) Dailey of Mercer, MO, one brother-in-law; Albert Hall of Ravenwood, MO, and his faithful companion, Rusty.

A memorial service for Charles Osborn will be held on August 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, 206 East South Hills Dr. Maryville, MO. The family will greet visitors, at 1:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
