Betty Wiederholt, 84, of Maryville, MO, was born December 30, 1931 in Omaha, NE, to Ame & Alma E.(Poe) Branson. She passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016, near Des Moines, IA.

Betty married George H. Wiederholt on July 19, 1949 and they resided in Stanberry, MO.

Betty drove the OATS bus from 1984-1986 to St. Joe, MO. She later worked in the fabric department at Wal-Mart in Maryville, MO from 1987-1989. In 2005 she worked at the Area on Aging in Albany, MO. Betty moved to Maryville, MO in 2007. She was a member of the Eagles Auxillary, Maryville, MO and was involved with the MO Adoptive Rights Movement and Special Olympics.

Survivors include: son, David William (Cynthia) Wiederholt, Nampa, ID, son, Steven Eugene (Linda) Wiederholt, Kansas City, MO, son, Michael George (Karen) Wiederholt, Stockton, CA., son, Dale Edward (Diana) Wiederholt, Stanberry, MO., daughter, Cathy (the late Larry) Goff, Conception Jct., MO., son, William “Bill” James (Monica) Wiederholt, Stanberry, MO., son Russel Ame (Denise) Wiederholt, Maryville, MO., daughter, Wilma (the late Stephen) Henggeler, Stanberry, MO., daughter, Marge Hinkebein, Farmington, MO., Georgia (Steve Espey) Wiederholt, Maryville, MO., sister, Maxine Cravens, Agage, CO, sister, Rachel Downey, Allendale, MO., companion Duane Harrison. She has 103 decendents, 39 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Wiederholt, siblings, James David Ballard, Audrey Lavonne Parks, Rosemary Ballard, Robert Duane Ballard, and Wanda Branson, son-in-law, Stephen Henggeler, son-in-law, Larry Goff and great-granddaughter, Kaia Wiederholt.

Family and parish prayer service from 5-7 p.m. Rosary at 7 p.m. Monday, at Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Stanberry, MO, with Fr. Tom officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Stanberry, MO.
