James Edward Dew

James Edward Dew, 72, of Maryville, MO, passsed away on April 29, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Maryville, with family members by his side.

Jim Dew was born March 21, 1944, in Maryville. He lived his life in the Nodaway county area. His parents were Paul Bertsel Dew, and Lela Emily (Massie) Dew. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Dew.

He was a trucker and owned and operated his own trucking company, James Dew Inc. He had also worked for Farris Trucking, and Koch Transportation.

His survivors include his 3 children: Alisha Mick of Sheridan, MO, Jason Dew of Conrad, Iowa, and Jessica (Allen) Jones of Clearmont, MO. Seven grandchildren: Lacie (Mike) Molnar, Jonathan (Samantha) Mires, Sheri (Roy) Rausch, Christy (Trevor) Harris, Eric Jones, Chelsea Taylor, and Dalaney Dew. 8 great grandchildren, and one brother, Larry Dew, Pickering, MO, as well as nieces and nephews, and Lucky his dog.

A memoral service for Jim Dew will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 10:30 AM, at Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville.The inurnment will follow at the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.
