Twilla L. Hager

Twilla L. Hager, 94, of Maryville, MO, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the Golden Living Center, Maryville, with family members at her side.

Twilla was born on Nov 7, 1921,in Peru, NE, her parents were Peter Costello Mason and Lydia Louise (Rogers) Mason.

She graduated from high school in Peru, NE.

She was united in marriage to Virgil M. Hager, in Auburn, NE, he passed away on May 28, 1994.

She had worked as an aid at St. Francis Hospital, and as a clerk at Place's, both of Maryville. And had been an apartment manager in Florida. She had belonged to the Wray Memorial United Methodist Church in Hopkins, and Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Roger Mason.

She is survived by her children, Gailen Hager, Maryville, Larry (Sherri) Hager, Homasassa Springs, FL, and Pam (Ed) Hall, Lakeland, FL, 1 brother, Emmit (Linda) Mason, and 1 sister, Marlene Hall; 8 grandchildren, Billy Hager, and Cathi Peter, Dee (Darlene) Hager, Vetra (Calvin) Roberts, Corkey (Ted) Hansen, Ginger (Mark) Keho, Amy (Lee) Swan, Gale (Kenny) Hull, Eric Hager, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and burial will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
