Zachery E. Armentrout

Zachery Eugene Armentrout, 29, of Elmo, MO, passed from this life on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO.

Zachery was born in Fairfax, MO, on June 25, 1986, to Mark Alan and Katherine Jane Kretchmer Armentrout. He had lived the past 8 years in Elmo, having moved from Maitland, MO.

He went through the 8th grade at Nodaway Holt in Maitland, and had attended high school at Maryville High. He had attended Youth Group at the Maitland Christian Church.

At age 16, Zachery had his heart transplant through the Midwest
Transplant Network at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. He was
always grateful for his new heart and thankful to the donor family.
He encouraged others to become donors, and fulfilled his promise to be a donor himself.

Zachery was into his riding his Harley with friends. Dirt bikes, 4 wheeler riding and music were also his passion.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Dorothy Kretchmer, and paternal grandparents, Louis and Cleo Armentrout; sister in law, Taylor Green-Sillers; his uncle, Wally Armentrout; and his aunt Marysue Kretchmer.

His is survived by his parents, Mark and Kathy Armentrout, Elmo, MO; his son Daniel, Covina, CA; siblings, Chad (Jordan) Sillers, Fairfax, MO, and Christina (Bryan) Marrison, Burlington Junction, MO; Zachery was very close to his nieces and nephews, Jetta and Carsyn Green-Sillers, Cheyann and Ryan Marisson, and Damon Lambert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The burial will follow in the Home Cemetery, Tarkio, MO. The minister will be Rev. Bobby Gazaway.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the funeral home.
