Dr. Robert Edward Dunshee, Md

Dr. Robert Edward Dunshee, 94, of Maryville, MO, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at his home in Maryville.

Dr. Dunshee was born at the St. Francis Hospital in Maryville on February 11, 1922. His parents were Dr. Harry J. Dunshee, DDS, and Olivette Godsey Dunshee. He grew up in Stanberry, MO, where his father was a dentist.

Dr. Dunshee went to medical school at Washington University. He did his Pre-Med Studies at the University of Missouri. He then served in the US Medical Corp during World War II.

Dr. Dunshee was a medical doctor in Maryville for many years and was associated with the St. Francis Hospital.

He was a long time member of the Maryville Rotary Club, and and attended the First Christian Church, Maryville.

His survivors include his wife, Winifred, of the home; daughter Debbie Dunshee Garrison, St. Joseph, MO; granddaughter, Beth Garrison, and fiancee Jamieray Hutchins, St. Joseph, MO; and his brother, John Dunshee, Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Dunshee's body has been cremated under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The inurnment was be private and held at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service Saturday, at the funeral home.
