Cornelia "Connie" L. Yates

I died on November 13, 2015, at the age of 85 years.

I was born in Savannah, MO, on November 25, 1929, and left on a doorstep there. I was adopted by a wonderful couple who became my parents, Oscar and Lucy (French) Rogers.

I married William F. Yates of Burlington Junction, MO, on July 2nd 1955, and we enjoyed 60 happy years together.

We have 3 sons, Roger (Cindy), Randy, and Robert (Gayle).

We have 6 grandsons, William, Ryan, Benjamin, John, Daniel and Mark; and 1 grand daughter, Jennifer. Also 4 great grandsons, Rodger, James, Everett, and Clark, and one great granddaughter, Clara.

I was preceded in death by my parents; son, Roger; and great grandson, Everett.

I wish everyone could have been as happy as I have been. I will miss you all. I am going off on the ultimate adventure (and maybe a new merit badge).

My body has been cremated under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. My celebration of life memorial service will be held from 2-4:00 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the Burlington Junction Christian Church, Burlington Junction, MO. My cremains will be inurned in the Ohio Cemetery in Burlington Junction.
