Shirley Ann Montross, 60, of Maryville, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at her home in Maryville, MO.

Shirley was born on June 15, 1955, in Maryville. Her parents were Jack and Ella Roberta (Elliott) DeVers. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, David Devers, and one brother-in-law Dale Montross, and father in law, Laverne Montross

On January 2, 1977, Shirley was united marriage to Gary D. Montross in Maryville, MO. They had lived 3 years in Clarinda, IA, and 5 years in Shenandoah, IA, before moving back to Maryville.

Shirley had worked for Parkdale Manor and other area nursing homes. She worked for 5 years for NWMSU.

She is survived by her husband Gary, of the home. Other survivors include her siblings, Susan (Kelly) Wilmes, Michael Steven Devers, Paul (Beth) Devers, Scott Devers, Bruce (Pam) Devers; her mother in law, Patricia Snyder, other in laws, David (Sharon) Montross,, Marilyn (Dale) Becker, Janet (Don) Trimmer, and Terry (Phyllis)Montross; numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley has been cremated under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. No services are planned at this time.
