Michael Lynn “Mike” Mackey, 63, of Maryville, MO, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Mosaic Life Care, in St. Joseph, MO.

Mike was born on January 27, 1952, in Maryville. His parents were Russell Lee and Helen Jean (Dawson) Mackey, and preceded him in death.

Mike was a lifelong resident of Maryville. He graduated from Maryville High School in 1970, and attended NWMSU. For 31 years, Mike was the owner/operator of the former Mackey Heating and Air Conditioning. From 2004 to 2007, he was the Maintenance Director at Golden Living Center, Maryville.

memberships included the Maryville Jaycees, where he served as chapter president, and as a Jaycees National Ambassador. He was a charter member of the Maryville Pride Lions Club. He was of the Baptist faith.

On November 18, 1972, Mike was united in marriage to Billie Rae Milinkov, and she survives of the home in Maryville.

Other survivors include his children, Jaymie and husband, Troy Dietrich, Liberty, MO, Tyler and wife, Ashley Mackey, Kansas City, MO, Andy Mackey, Kansas City, MO, Doug and wife, Bethany Mackey, Minneapolis, MN, and David and wife, Sara Mackey, Lexington, NE; 7 grandchildren, Alden Dietrich, Mitchell Dietrich, Keaton Mackey, Melia, Jamison, and Bennett Mackey, and Presley Mackey; 3 brothers, Gary Mackey, Warrensburg, MO, Chris Mackey, Maryville, MO, and Tim and wife, Gina Mackey, Maryville, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Mackey has been cremated.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, October 16, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The inurnment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, at a later date. The minister will be Pastor Paul McKim.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 15, 2015, at the funeral home.
