David Wendell Everhart

David Wendell Everhart, 58, of Skidmore, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at his home in Skidmore.

David was born on January 25, 1957, in Fairfax, MO, his parents were William E. and Marian J. (John) Everhart. He had lived all his life in Northwest Missouri. His father preceded him in death.

He graduated from Nodaway-Holt R-VII School in 1975. He was also a graduate of the NWMTS Electronic course.

He served his country in the Missouri Army National Guard right after high school. He completed Officers Training and obtained the rank of Captain. He was the commanding officer of the Albany and the Independence units of the Guard.

David loved the outdoors, farming and fishing, he had retired from Kawasaki due to Illness.

He married Lisa Ridler, and they later divorced.

He is survived by his children, William David (Joni) Everhart, Holt, MO, Joseph Ross Everhart, Skidmore, MO, and Natalie ( Sam) Jackson, Oregon, MO; his mother, Marian J. Everhart, Skidmore, MO, his sister, Cynthia Crawford; grandchildren, Reese Everhart, Jayce, Will, Isabella Jackson. David Everhart was also expecting another granddaughter in December.

His greatest delight during the last few years was voluteering to deliver Meal on Wheels to the elderly in Skidmore. Each of them held a special place in his heart. His grandchildren were extra special, and he was looking forward to a new one in December.

Mr. Everhart has been cremated.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, Mr. Bruce Roberts will be the officiant.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Monday, October 12, 2015, at the funeral home.
