Craig Summa, 77, of Maryville, MO, passed from this life peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2015, in Maryville.

Craig was born in Kansas City, MO, on March 3, 1938. His parents were J. Lloyd and Ruth (Austin) Summa. His mother preceded him in death a few years after his birth, and his father remarried Virgina (Grooms) Summa, who raised him. He was preceded in death by his father; his wife Billee, in 2007; his brother Rex Summa; and his mother in law Dolores (George) Summa.

Craig graduated in 1956 from Albany High School, and later attended NWMSU in Maryville. He served his country in the Missouri Army National Guard, and was a member of the Elks Lodge #760, Maryville. He was of the Baptist faith.

On June 14, 1959, In Albany, MO, Craig was united in marriage to Billee P. George. She passed away on October 7, 2007.

Craig was the owner/operator of the Summa Implement Co, Maryville. That business was founded in 1947 by his father, and Craig had worked there from an early age.

Craig is survived by his children, Lesli (Summa)Bills, Nashville, TN, and Kent (Anna) Summa, Maryville, MO; brother, Dr. James Michael "Mick" (Jeanette) Summa, Seattle, WA; sister in law, Georgalee George, Rockford, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The minister will be Pastor Paul McKim. The burial will follow in the Nodaway Memorial Gardens, also of Maryville.

No formal visitation is planned.
