Robert Davis

Robert "Bob" E. Davis passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. He died at his home in Hopkins, MO surrounded by loving family.

Bob Davis was born October 31, 1944 near Maryville, MO. His parents were Robert P. Davis and Stella (Brant) Davis . They preceeded him in death. He was also preceeded in death by one brother Joe Davis, and three sisters, Shirley Davis, Virginia Stotts, and Christina Davis.

Bob married Virginia "Sue" Randle on June 24, 1964 in Maryville. She survives of their home. Other surviving family members are daughters Tina (Charles) Woods of Hopkins, Tammy (Dennis) Hamilton of Hopkins, Teresa (Robert) Hippler of New Liberia, LA, and Terra (Chad) King also of Hopkins. Surviving sons Travis (Manda Zuchowski) Davis, and John (Kathy) Brown of Maryville. Bob is survived by three sisters Dorothy and Diana Davis of Hopkins, and Margaret Giggar of Stanberry,MO. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Kelly Randle,Mike Woods, Tarran, and Bryan Hamilton, Tanisha, Keegan, and Shelbie King, and Chance, and Ciara Davis. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews.

Bob was employed as an over the road truck driver for 33 years. He drove over 3 million safe miles. He lived his whole life in Nodaway county. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Graveside service for Bob Davis will be, Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM. The service will be held at Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family to help with final expenses.
