Fred J. Liebing

Fred Johannes Liebing, 70, of Skidmore, MO, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at his home in Skidmore.

Fred was born in New York, NY, on February 14, 1945. His parents were Johannes Gottfried and Evelyn (Neron) Liebing. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his twin sister, Barbara Bily.

Fred resided in the area for the past 25 years and had previously lived in Islip Terrace, NY. His memberships included the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, the Rotary Club, and the Elks Club, all of Maryville, MO, and the Stamp Club of St. Joseph, MO.

Fred was a custom picture framer and owned and operated Classic Picture Framing in Maryville, MO.

On September 17, 1966, Fred was united in marriage to Margot Motzer, and she survives in Maryville.

Other survivors include his son, Eric Alexander Liebing, Portland, OR; 2 brothers, Robert (Linda) Liebing, Claremont, CA, and William Liebing, Maryville, MO; his nephew, Brian (Kim) Bily; great nieces and nephews, Bryant, Julia, Colin, and Kathryn Bily.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Maryville. The burial will be at a later date.

All are welcome to gather for a time of fellowship at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 2, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the funeral home to help with the final expenses.
