Nelda Joyce Sharp Andrews, 76, of Maryville, MO, and formerly of Barnard and Hopkins, MO, areas, passed from this life on March 25, 2015, at her home in Maryville.

Joyce was born on December 4, 1938, in Barnard, MO, to Harold L. and Velma D. (Hilsabeck) Sharp. She was a lifelong resident of the area, and graduated from the South Nodaway High School in 1956.

Joyce had formerly worked at the St. Joseph Light and Power, and was also a farm wife. She worked for Federal Crop in Savannah, MO, and the Farm Service Agency in Platte City, MO, and retired in 2004 from the Maryville office.

Her memberships included the Barnard Christian Church, and formerly the Hopkins Christian Church. She also had memberships in various clubs in the Barnard and Hopkins areas.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, visiting with friends, and making Rhubarb and Gooseberry pies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, a brother, 2 nephews and a niece.

Her survivors include her 3 sons, Jim (Julie) Andrews, Prosper, TX, Jeff (Sandy) Andrews, Pickering, MO, and Jay Andrews, Omaha, NE; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Barnard Christian Church, Barnard, MO. The burial will follow in the Barnard American Legion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville.
