Wilma J. Allen

Wilma Jean (VanHoutan) Allen 82, of Maryville, MO, entered heaven on Sunday, February 8, 2015, being welcomed by her heavenly family. She had endured many hardships after open heart surgery in September of 2014.

She is survived by two children, Donita (Stanley) Sunderland, St. Joseph, MO, and Terry (Kim) Allen, Lincoln, NE; 8 grandchildren, Damon Bleazard, St. Joseph, TJ (Erin) Allen, Maryville, Tyler (Hollie) Jordan, Craig, MO, Jessica Baumli-Horn, Kansas City, MO, Jodi (Justin) Allen, Skidmore, MO, Michaela Jordan, Kansas City, MO, Logan (Ashley) Allen, Maryville, and Shelly (Steve) Kendall, St. Joseph, MO. She has 11 great grandchildren, Trystan Lyle, Victoria Allen, Leena Allen, Chloie Jordan, Don Allen, Landon Allen, Luke Allen, Lillian Cynthia Jordan, Triniti Marie Allen, Kyle Kendall, and Kelsey Kendall.

She is also survived by her sister, Venita (Paul) Jennings, Grant City, MO, sister in law and special friend, Joyce Cronk, Maryville, and brother in law, Jack Krugh, Wathena, KS; and many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her, and many, many friends.
Preceding her in death was the love of her life, Don Allen, in 2004; grandson, Tanner Bleazard, in 1991, daughter Cindy Jordan, in 2011, and son, David Allen, in 2013; as well as her parents, her in laws; her sisters Ina and Rita, and her brothers, Dean, Keith, and JL.

Mrs. Allen has been cremated and the family will receive friends from 4-6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM.

Inurnment will be at a later date in the Weathermon Cemetery, Guilford, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Camp Quality, or SSM Hospice of NW Missouri.
