Charles William Moses, 85, of Maryville, MO, died on Monday, November 10, 2014, at the Parkdale Manor Nursing Home, Maryville.

Charles was born on September 30, 1929, in McLouth, KS, to William Clyde and Rosa (Coffman) Moses. Later he grew up in Basehor, KS. He moved to Maryville in 1995 to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren.

On October 15, 1950, he was united in marriage to Kathryn Louise Todd at the Methodist Church in Basehor, KS.

Charles retired from the US Postal Service at Shawnee Mission, KS, Post Office in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Louise Todd Moses in 2013, his parents, and his sister, Lucille Hicks.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Moses Kneale, and husband Richard, Skidmore, MO; grandchildren, Jason Kneale, Skidmore, MO, and Melissa Kneale Hanway, and husband Anthony, St. Joseph, MO; 1 great grandson, Tucker Kneale, 1 great granddaughter, Reagan Hanway; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Countryside Christian Church, Maryville, MO. The minister will be Rev. Charles Bowen. The burial will follow in the Maitland Cemetery, Maitland, MO.

The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the church.
