Irvin L. Meadows, 68, of Maitland, MO, passed from this life on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at his home with his family at his side.

Irvin was born on October 23, 1946, in Maryville, MO, his parents were Curtis W. and Rosalie Marie (Gillispie) Meadows, they preceded him in death.

Irvin was a member of the last class to graduate from the former Maitland High School, Maitland, MO. He had attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. He was a member and attended the Maitland Christian Church, was a member of the Graham Missouri Lions Club, and the Maitland Graham American Legion Post 256. A Vietnam War veteran with the US Air Force, Irvin played the trumpet in the Air Force Band.

Irvin was a lifelong farmer in the Maitland area; he also worked in the electronics department and enjoyed his workmates at the Maryville
Walmart.

In May of 1992, at the First Christian Church in Maitland, Irvin was united in marriage to Pamela Fae Blunt, she survives of the home in
Maitland.

Other survivors include his children, Angeles Jonske, St. Louis, MO, Chad, and wife Linda Meadows, Olathe, KS, Kipp, and wife Alice Meadows, Maitland, MO, and Travis, and wife Betsy Greever, Fillmore, MO; his sister, Cheryl, and husband Don Hascall, Ogden, IA; 8 grandchildren, Leilani, Tasha, Cody, and Madison Meadows, Justin and Eddie Stiens, Justin Travis (JT), and Patricia Greever; 7 great grandchildren; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and several other family member and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 14, 2014, at the Maitland Christian Church, Maitland, MO. The burial will follow in the  Maitland Cemetery, Maitland, MO. The minister will be Rev. Bill Gazaway.

The family will receive friends for 2 hours prior to services.

Military Rites will be under the direction of the Graham Maitland AL Post 256, and Maryville AL Post 100.

Memorials are suggested to the SSM Hospice of NW Missouri, Maryville, MO.
