Kenny D. Lyle, Sr.

Kenneth Dean (Kenny) Lyle, Sr., 59, Kansas City, MO, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at a hospital in Lee’s Summit.

Kenny was born in Chicago, IL, on December 12, 1954, to Bob and Mary A. (Watkins) Lyle. He had resided in Maryville, MO, until moving to St. Joseph, MO, in 1980. In 2000, Kenny moved to the Kansas City area until his death.

A Maryville High School Class of 1972 graduate, Kenny had attended NWMSU in Maryville. He loved to hunt, fish, play golf, all sports, and especially the Kansas City Chiefs. He also loved to watch old Classics and Westerns on TV, and to read from his own mini library. He had been a Maryville Elks Lodge member for over 30 years.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his children, Kenneth Dean Lyle, Jr., and Melissa Brooke Lyle, both of St. Joseph, MO; his sister, Pamela (Stan) Smith, Lee’s Summit, MO; 2 grandchildren, Mackenzie Kaylnn and Parker Evan Lyle, both of St. Joseph; his uncle, Doyle E. Watkins, Maryville, MO; and a host of friends.

Mr. Lyle’s body has been cremated.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to help with final expenses and can be left at the funeral home.
