Bonnie J. Dougan

Bonnie Jean Dougan, 87, of Ravenwood, MO, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014, at Hearltand Hospital, in St. Joseph, MO.

Bonnie was born on March 12, 1926, in St. Joseph, MO, to Carl Bernard and Alma Doris (Cook) Sherry. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Virginia Cordonier; and her brother, C.B. Sherry.

She lived most all her life in the Ravenwood, MO, area, and had graduated from the Guilford High School Guilford, MO. She was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church, and a past member of the Gallagher Club, both of Ravenwood.
She retired from Lloyd Chain Corporation, Maryville, MO, and had also been a cook at the Northeast Nodaway School, Ravenwood, MO.

On January 20, 1945, at the First Christian Church in Maryville, MO, Bonnie was united in marriage to James A. Dougan. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include her 3 sons, Kenny and wife, Verlene Dougan, Keith and wife, Linda Dougan, and Kirby and wife, Deb Dougan, all of Ravenwood; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; 2 brothers, Cleo Sherry, Maryville, MO, and Willis Sherry, Platte City, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the Ravenwood Christian Church, Ravenwood, MO. The burial will be in the Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
