Raymond Wright

Raymond Wright, Jr., 56, of Skidmore, MO, passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2013, at his home in Skidmore.

Raymond was born on October 19, 1957, in Akron, OH. He was the son of Raymond and Beulah Irene (Shields) Wright, Sr., they preceded him in death. He was also preceded by a grandson, Houston LeRay.

He had lived in Skidmore the past 3 years after spending many years in Cherryvalle, KS. He owned and operated Skidmore Service, and enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors. He was also a member of the Skidmore Volunteer Fire Department. He was honorably discharged from the US Army.

His survivors include his children, Candida (Bill) Noble, Skidmore, MO, Raymond (Katie) Wright III, Deschler, NE, Roman Lee (Candace) Wright, Maryville, MO, Hope Rose Wright, and fiancée, Kevin Rowland, Craig, MO; brother, Russell Wright, Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Bryson, Austin, Makayla, Alexander, Trevor, Quinton, Alex, Allison, Justin, Geoff, Aaron, his nephew, Adam (Lisa) James, and other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wright has been cremated under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the Skidmore Service, 102 N. Walnut, Skidmore, MO. The minister will be the Rev. Bill Gazaway.

No formal visitation is planned.
