Jeannine L. Gaa, 63, of Maryville, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at her home in Maryville.

Jeannine was born on September 27, 1950, in Elmo, MO, to Darrell D. and Ruth Anna (Hamilton) Snodderley. She had resided in Maryville since 1976, and had been a former resident of Clearmont, MO, and spent a short time in the St. Louis, MO area.

She graduated from West Nodaway High School in Burlington Junction, MO, the class of 1968. She had received her B.S. in Vocational Home Economics from Northwest Missouri State University in 1972. Jeannine taught school at Cross Middle School, at Ferguson-Florissant School District, St. Louis, MO. She later has been the Director of Career Services at NWMSU for 19 years, and owned and operated Gaa Rentals in Maryville for many years.

Jeannine was a member and attended the First United Methodist Church, Maryville. She was a member of the Elmo American Legion Auxiliary, Elmo, MO.

On December 9, 1979, Jeannine was united in marriage to Charles A. Gaa, in Las Vegas, NV. Charley passed away on January 23, 1996.

She was also preceded in death by her father, Darrell D. Snodderley, in 2000; and by a nephew, John Midkiff, also in 2000.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Jeremy A. Gaa, Maryville, MO, Emily R. Gaa, Osceola, IA, and Stephanie S. Gaa, Maryville, MO; 1 grandson, Isa Gaa, Maryville, MO; mother, Ruth Anna Snodderley, Clearmont, MO; twin-sister, Juliane M. (Tim) Hager, Centenniel, CO; 2 brothers, Steve (Judy) Snodderley, Elmo, MO, and Herb (Brenda) Snodderley, Clearmont, MO; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, October 25, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church, Maryville, MO. Pastor Scott Moon will be the minister. The burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
