David M. Allen, 50, of Craig, MO, and formerly of Maryville, MO, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at his home in Craig.

Dave was born in Maryville, MO, on November 7, 1962, to Don G. and Wilma J. (Van Houtan) Allen. He had lived in the Maryville area until moving to Craig 5 years ago.

Dave attended the Word of Life Church, in St. Joseph, MO. He was also a board member for the City of Craig, MO, and he held several Fellowships at the Autumn House in Maryville.

He was self-employed and had owned and operated Allen’s Striping and Sealcoating business since 1993.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Don G. Allen, in 2004, his sister, Cindy Jordan, in 2011, his nephew, Tanner Bleazard in 1991, and the love of his life, Linda Allen, in 2010.

He is survived by his daughter and also the love of his life, Jodi Allen, Skidmore, MO; his brother, Terry (Kim) Allen, Cimarron, KS; his sister, Donita (Stan) Sunderland, St. Joseph, MO; his mother, Wilma Jean Allen, Maryville, MO; his girlfriend, Teresa Wiley, Craig, MO; numerous nieces and nephews; and many adopted children and grandchildren that were very important to him.

Memorial Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. Pastor Robbie Robison will be the minister for the service.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2013, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, 206 E. South Hills Drive, Maryville, MO, 64468, to help with the final expenses.
