Eugene B. Pritchett

March 8, 1936 — July 26, 2013

Eugene Benjamin Pritchett, 77, of Maryville, MO, passed away July 26, 2013 in Maryville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, at 1-3:30PM at Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home in Maryville, MO with funeral services to follow at 3:30PM. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO.

Eugene was born in Parnell, MO March 8, 1936, and graduated from Grant City High School in 1954.

Eugene proudly served his country in the US Army, and spent 25 years in the Albany and Maryville National Guard Units. Military Honors will be performed at the cemetery.

On May 16, 1959, Eugene married Hopah Loraine Campbell Grant City, MO.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Pritchett, mother Edith (Milligan) Smith, step father Henry Smith; sister Virginia Sherman; son-in-law Michael Ebrecht, granddaughter, Courtney Leivan.

Survivor included his wife Loraine (Campbell) Pritchett, Maryville, MO; 5 children Eulajean (Mac) Hunt, Platte City, MO, June (Brian) Loudon, Platte City, MO, Karen Ebrecht, Maryville, MO, John (Kyisha) Pritchett, Country Club, MO, Pam (David) Leivan, Shenandoah, IA; 6 brothers, Francis Pritchett, Mount Ayr , IA, Charles Pritchett, Gentry, MO, Danny Pritchett, Council Bluffs, IA, David Pritchett, Council Bluffs, IA, Tim Pritchett, Beemer, NE, and Don (Kathy) Pritchett, Evansdale, IA; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He worked for several area farms; LMP, Maryville, MO, Cap Factory, Stanberry, MO, Reigel Textiles, Maryville, MO, and later retired from Kawasaki Manufacturing, Maryville, MO.

He was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and brother – He enjoyed a good conversation and “anything” involving an automobile.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer society.
