John R. Byler

John R. Byler, Skidmore, MO, was born on March 25, 1938, at Dover, Delaware, to Rudy and Matilda (Bender) Byler. He died at home on July 14, 2013, at age 75 years, 3 months, and 19 days.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Dena R. Yutzy, after having lived together in holy matrimony for 54 years. They were married on October 26, 1958.

To this union were born 4 children; Debra, married to Roger Miller, Oskaloosa, KS, Mervin, (deceased), Dale, married to Mildred Mast, Skidmore, MO, Cindy, married to Dale Troyer, Pickering, MO. In 1982, they adopted a special child, Billy Joe, who still resides at home. He will also be missed by his 16 grandchildren.

He accepted Christ as his Savior in his youth and was a member of Mt. Moriah Mennonite Fellowship where he remained faithful until his death.

The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 PM, and 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Maryville, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church.

We wish to express our thanks for each one’s presence, prayers, food, and all the other many kind deeds of helping in the time of our deep sorrow and loss. May God bless and reward you all.
