Lois June Boarts

Lois June Boarts 89, of Maryville, MO, passed away Thursday March 28, 2013 at the Nodaway Nursing Home, in Maryville, Missouri. She was born June 6, 1923 in Savannah, Missouri to Mary Edith (Sollars) and Edward Dewitt Reynolds. She was a homemaker, and a Christian. She enjoyed embroidery, playing bingo in her later years, and she also enjoyed her bible studies and her adult basic education classes. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Milo Howard Payne, 2nd husband Lyle Edward Boarts, two sons, Terry Lee Payne and Mark Edward Payne, two brothers, Harold Lee Reynolds and Edward Allen Reynolds, and one sister, Mary Esther Leasure. Survivors include a son Robert Michael Payne and wife Carol Ann of Maryville, MO., two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Lahiff and Cora Marie Barber both of Atlantic Beach, Fl. A brother Phillip Duane Reynolds and wife Virginia, of Pickering, MO, nine grandchildren, Erin (Monty) Johanning of Sioux Falls, SD, Michael James (Beth) Payne of Inwood, IA, Tara Marie (Phil) Mueller, of Sioux Falls, SD, Caitlin Maureen Payne of Ames, IA, Travis Lee (Samantha) Payne of Kansas City, MO, William Matthew Payne of Maryville, MO, Shannon Jo (Joshua) Chambers of Jacksonville, FL, Angela Marie Catone of Derby, CT, and Christopher David Macki of Marquette, MI, eleven great grandchildren, Taylor, Jade, Cadence, and Sophie Payne, Aiden, Logan and Elena Johanning, Milo Mueller and a new great grand daughter on the way, Jocelyn and Grayson Chambers, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
