Mark Kinman

January 21, 1956 — November 11, 2012

William “Mark” Kinman 56, of Maryville, MO, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, at the Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, MO, after a long battle with cancer.

Mark was born in Maryville, MO, on January 21, 1956, and was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Maryville High School in 1974, and received both his Bachelor’s in 1978, and his Master Degree in 1980, in Agri-Science from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. He and his family own and operate the Kinman Livestock Company, Maryville.

His memberships included St. Gregory’s Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville, MO, and he was former Parish Council member of the church; a member of the Polk Township Board, a former member of M.F.A. of Maryville, and had enthusiastically supported numerous booster clubs that supported his children’s education.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Velma Kinman, and John David and Paulin Allen; and his mother in law, Helen Sinnett.

On December 27, 1980, at the First United Methodist Church in Maryville, Mark was united in marriage to Patricia Lynn Sinnett, she survives of the home in Maryville.

Other survivors include his children, Christopher (Jillian) Kinman, and granddaughter, Audrey, of Round Rock, TX; daughter, Caitlin Kinman, St. Joseph, MO; his parents, Billy Dean and Martha May (Allen) Kinman, Maryville, MO; brother, Michael (Carma) Kinman, Maryville, MO; brother in laws, Michael (Mary Anne) Sinnett, Littleton, CO, and John (Cynthia) Sinnett, Parkville, MO; father in law, John M. Sinnett, North Kansas City, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Mass of Catholic Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 15, 2012, at the St. Gregory’s Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville, Fr. Martin De Meulenaere, O.S.B., will be the celebrant. The burial will be in the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville, MO.

A prayer service will be at 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO, with visitation to follow until 7:00 PM.
