Billie Mac Asher

Mr. Billie Mac Asher 80, of Grant City, MO, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at his home in Grant City.

He was born in Worth County, MO, on December 28, 1931, to Charlie and Gladys (McKinley) Asher, he was a lifelong resident of the area. Billie proudly served his country in U.S. Army and was honorable discharged in April 1960. He retired in 1993 after spending 21 years with the Missouri State Highway Department.

He was united in marriage to Della Sue (Fletchall) Asher, she survives of the home in Grant City; other survivors include his son, Billie Gene Asher, Wichita Falls, TX; brother, C.M. (Pistol) Asher, of Sheridan, MO, and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Asher has been cremated under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. No memorial services are planned at this time.
