Jesse Auten

Jesse J. Auten 64, of Skidmore, MO passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Village Care Center, Maryville, MO.

Jesse was born on October 30, 1947 in Pickering, MO to Charlie and Opal (Adams) Auten. He graduated from Parnell High School and later moved to the Skidmore area.

In 2011 he retired after 30 years working for Jerry Brown Farms in Skidmore, MO.

Jesse married Charlotte Auten, she passed away on September 17, 2005; he was also preceded by his parents, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Survivors are his children, son, Kenny Auten, Maryville, MO; 3 daughters, Molly (Mick) McCauley, Waukee, IA, Angie (Kevin) Cordell, Skidmore, MO, and Melody Auten, Urbandale, IA; 4 grandchildren, Tracer and Tobin Cordell, Skidmore, MO, and Gage and Macy McCauley, Waukee, IA; 4 sisters, Anna Mae (Bob) Parker, MO, Helen (Louie) Mendozia, KS, Mary Jane Garcia, MO, and Clara Bell (Glen) Hull, IA; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO, inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore, MO. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
