Ramona Job

Ramona Job 72, of Maryville, MO passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 11, 2011, at the Heartland Regional Hospital in St. Joseph, MO.

Ramona was born to June 2, 1939 in Maryville, to Raymond Lewis and Hazel Roberta (Livengood) Job. She graduated from Maryville High School and attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.

She had worked as an operator, and then was the dispatcher for the frame board at the former United Telephone Service. She was employed for over 40 years in Maryville, Ferrelview, and Warrensburg, MO. She moved back to Maryville when she retired.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Jobie Lewis Gaukel.

Left to mourn her passing is her sister, Judith L. Job, Maryville, MO; and her brother, William R. (Donna) Job, Maryville, MO. She is also survived by 4 nieces, Leann (Wayne) Kuykendall, Iowa Park, TX, Nena Ramona Herndon, Iowa Park, TX, Kimberly Lynn (Mark) Trimble, Parnell, MO, and Billie D. (James) Pankau, Oxford, MO, and a nephew James Scott (D Ann) Gaukel, Burlington Jct. MO. ; 14 great nieces and nephews, and 7 great-great nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend, Alice Jean Birkenholz, Maryville, MO.

Ramona had been cremated and her memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville, MO. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services Monday at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Camp Quality of NW Missouri.
