Rick Winfred McIntyre was born on a Monday morning, August 24, 1959 to his parents Lawrence Winfred and Wilma Wright McIntyre at Saint Francis Hospital in Maryville, Missouri.

Rick grew up on the farm near Burlington Junction; he attended the United Methodist Church and the West Nodaway public schools. Rick loved and excelled in football and baseball at West Nodaway. Rick graduated from West Nodaway in 1977.

In the fall of 1977, Rick began his college education at Northwest Missouri State University. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 with a double major in Industrial Technology and Agriculture. After graduation from college, Rick was employed at Broadway Industries in Kansas City.

In the spring of 1984, Rick moved to Rogers, Arkansas. Presently, Rick was working for the Jack Carter Company of Rogers. He loved and served God with all of his heart. Rick was a faithful and active member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers. Rick was also a part of the First Impressions Team at the church.

Rick Winfred McIntyre departed his earthly life and entered into God’s eternal realm on Monday morning, July 25, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

Rick will be greatly missed by his parents, relatives, friends, and church family.

Survivors include his parents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the United Methodist Church, Burlington Jct. MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.

The burial will be in the Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Jct. MO.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Burlington Junction United Methodist Church memorial fund or the Burlington Junction Summer Baseball Association.
