Robert L. Stevenson

Mr. Robert L. Stevenson 85, of Elmo, MO passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in Parker, CO.

Mr. Stevenson was born near Dotham, MO on August 31, 1925 to James A. and Stella A Payne Stevenson. He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 brothers.

A U.S. Army veteran, he had served during World War II.

Mr. Stevenson had worked for the U.S. Forestry Department, and later retired after many years as a Cartographer for the U.S. Department of the Interior. He had worked at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, CO.

Survivors include two sons, John Stevenson, Parker, CO, and Kevin Stevenson, Falmouth, VA, three grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services and burial are tentatively set for 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville, MO. No formal visitation is planned.
