Junia Wilette Peery Damgar 97, of Maryville, MO passed away peacefully on February 20, 2011, at the Village Care Center, Maryville.

June was born on January 28, 1914 in College Springs, Iowa and had been a resident of Maryville for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker and had been a member of the First Christian Church, Maryville.

In 1932 she married Earl Damgar, he passed away in 1982. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ralph E. Damgar in 1990, a granddaughter, Katherine R. Damgar, in 1999, and two brothers, Joe R. Peery, and Paul C. “Pete” Peery.

Left to mourn her passing is her son, Chris L. Damgar, Miller, MO, her daughter in law, Eileen (James) Carroll, Maryville, MO., 4 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

June requested to be cremated with no visitation or funeral services. Her family is honoring her wishes. Her cremains will be buried at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO. Friends may stop by the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, 206 E. South Hills Drive, Maryville, MO 64468, to sign her register book.

Memorials can be made in her name to a charity of the donor’s choice and be directed to the funeral home.
